TEAM

Our team members are specialized in areas that range from Newborn Nanny, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Postpartum Doula (PPD), and Newborn Care Specialist (NCS). Hundreds of families have benefited from the newborn care services of Queen City Newborn Care and we look forward to serving many more with their new addition or additions! We serve families in the entire greater Charlotte area from Fort Mill SC to Statesville NC and everything in between.

We have a close knit group and discuss ideas frequently. We offer support via a private team page and staff meetings throughout the year. Our newborn specialists make between $25-40 per hour, depending on experience, and are paid as independent contractors. Our newborn nannies make between $22-30 per hour, depending on experience, and are paid as W2 employees by the family who hires you.

"I participated in the Queen City Newborn Care internship over the summer. I came in as a birth doula, but finished my summer not only as a newborn care specialist, but as a confident NCS. Meg was an amazing mentor, always ready when I had questions. She helped me see the work QCNC does through multiple perspectives. The modules that I completed gave me a broader understanding of the postpartum journey a family takes and how I can best serve my local community. This internship gave me knowledge that I was able to apply during my volunteer time, confidence with myself, my skills and clients, and a new love for working with new moms and babies." - Faith Anna Pinkston, Summer 2018
