Meg is the owner of Queen City Newborn Care. She founded QCNC in 2015, after seeing a need in the Greater Charlotte area for supportive, non-judgmental care for parents and infants. With 15+ years of experience, she has extensive training in a variety of topics, and has cared for babies in all circumstances – from premature infants, to medically fragile babies, to twins and triplets. In fact, during her career, she has cared for over 100 infants, and has no plans to slow down anytime soon!
Some of her qualifications include certifications as Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, and Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. She's also a student and plans to go into neonatology. In her free time (when she has some!) Meg volunteers in the NICU at Novant and is the mama of a not so little boy. She is constantly looking for a new volunteer opportunity, a new experience, and a new family to help. Her long-term goal is to work in the NICU at Levine Children’s Hospital (while still running QCNC).
She still takes on clients but focuses primarily on multiples, premature, or medically fragile infants. Feel free to email her with questions!
We have over a dozen nurses, postpartum doulas, and newborn care specialists on the team that service the greater Charlotte area. Let us know what qualifications you're looking for and we will match you with the perfect person!
