Meg is the owner of Queen City Newborn Care. She founded QCNC in 2015, after seeing a need in the Greater Charlotte area for supportive, non-judgmental care for parents and infants. With 19+ years of experience as a professional nanny and newborn care specialist, she has extensive training in a variety of topics and has cared for babies in all circumstances – from premature infants to medically fragile babies, to twins and triplets. In fact, during her career, she has cared for over 200 infants, and has no plans to slow down anytime soon!
Some of her qualifications include certifications as Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, Sleep Coach, and Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. She has taken dozens of trainings on multiples, infant sleep, perinatal mood disorders, and infant feeding. In her free time (when she has some!) Meg volunteers in the NICU at Novant Hospital and is the parent of a teenager. She is constantly looking for a new volunteer opportunity, a new experience, and a new family to help.
Looking to book Meg for your baby? She is available for January 2023 and beyond starting at $45 per hour.
We have multiple nurses, postpartum doulas, and newborn care specialists on the team that service the greater Charlotte area. Meg has personally hand-selected and carefully screened the agency's team of highly-qualified staff members. Our doulas, newborn care specialists, and nurses have all been trained by certifying or licensing organizations, maintain CPR/First Aid certification and SIDS training, and carry liability insurance!
